You will need a valid passport or national ID card, and a valid driving license. If your license is not from an EU country, you may also need an International Driving Permit (IDP).
Is an International Driving Permit (IDP) required?
An IDP is required for drivers with licenses issued outside the European Union. EU driving licenses are accepted without an IDP.
How long must I have held my driving license?
You must have held your driving license for at least 2 years. Some premium vehicles may require 3 or more years of driving experience.
Age Requirements
What is the minimum age to rent a car?
The minimum age to rent a car is 21 years. Some premium and SUV categories may require a minimum age of 25 years.
Is there a maximum age to rent a car?
Yes, the maximum age for renting a car is 75 years. Drivers over 70 may be asked to provide additional documentation.
Is there a young driver surcharge?
Drivers aged 21-24 may be subject to a young driver surcharge of €5-10 per day depending on the vehicle category.
Payment & Pricing
Do I need a credit card to rent a car?
No, we do not require a credit card. All payments are made in CASH at the time of vehicle collection. This is our unique model that makes renting easier for everyone.
What currencies do you accept?
We accept payments in Albanian Lek (ALL), Euro (EUR), US Dollar (USD), and British Pound (GBP). We recommend paying in EUR or ALL for the best rates.
Is there a security deposit?
Yes, a refundable security deposit is required. The deposit amount isYes, a refundable security deposit is required at pickup. The amount varies by vehicle category, typically ranging from €300-1000. This is returned upon vehicle return.
Are there any hidden fees?
No hidden fees! Our prices include basic insurance, taxes, and 24/7 roadside assistance. Optional extras like GPS and child seats are clearly priced.
Vehicle Selection
What types of vehicles do you offer?
We offer a wide range of vehicles including Economy cars, Compact sedans, SUVs, Premium vehicles, and Minivans. All vehicles are regularly maintained and serviced.
Which car should I choose for Albanian roads?
For mountain areas and countryside exploration, we recommend SUVs or vehicles with higher ground clearance. For city driving and coastal roads, any vehicle category works well.
Can I request a specific car model?
You can request a specific model, but we guarantee the car category, not the exact model. We display "or similar" for each listing as availability varies.
Cross-Border & Travel
Can I take the car outside Albania?
Yes! Our vehicles are authorized for travel throughout Europe. However, you must inform us in advance and may need to purchase Green Card insurance (€25) for border crossings.
Is ferry travel permitted?
Yes, ferry travel to Greece (Saranda-Corfu) and Italy (Durres-Bari) is permitted with prior notification. Please let us know when booking.
What about mileage limits?
Most of our vehicles come with unlimited mileage. For vehicles with limits, the daily allowance is typically 300km with additional kilometers charged at €0.15/km.
Pickup & Return
What are your pickup and return locations?
We offer pickup at Tirana Airport (TIA), Tirana City Center, Durres, Saranda, Vlore, Shkoder, Berat, and Gjirokaster. Airport pickups are available 24/7.
Can I return the car to a different location?
Yes, one-way rentals are available. There may be an additional fee depending on the pickup and return locations.
What happens if my flight is delayed?
If your flight is delayed, please contact us immediately so we can adjust your pickup time accordingly.
Booking & Modifications
How do I book a car?
Browse our fleet, select your dates and vehicle, and submit a booking inquiry. Our team will confirm availability within 2 hours and provide payment instructions.
Can I modify my booking?
Yes, you can modify your booking via email or WhatsApp up to 1 week before pickup. Changes are subject to availability.
What is your cancellation policy?
Free cancellation is available up to 48 hours before your scheduled pickup time. Cancellations within 48 hours may be subject to a fee.
